Equal opportunities
eXcentius is committed to equal opportunities in the recruitment and engagement of staff as well as during their employment or engagement. eXcentius treats all staff and any applicants for any position in the business equally, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
All staff (employees or contractors) are prohibited from any acts of unlawful discrimination, whether directly or indirectly, and against victimising or harassing other people including all current or former staff members, current or former clients and customers, suppliers and visitors and any job applicants. This applies both in and outside the workplace (when on work related business or in personal time whilst an employee or contractor) and on work-related events, including social events, using either company or private communications, and applies to both current and historical communications.
Any candidate currently being interviewed for a role with eXcentius, or any person currently in receipt of an offer of employment from the company, is prohibited from any acts of unlawful discrimination, whether directly or indirectly, and against victimising or harassing other people including all current or former staff members, current or former clients and customers, suppliers and visitors and any job applicants. This applies both in and outside the workplace, using either company or private communications, and applies to both current and historical communications.
For employees, any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.
For interview candidates, any breach of this policy will result in the immediate cessation of the interview process and the withdrawal of any offer of employment.
Any staff member who believes that s/he has suffered discrimination should refer to the bullying and harassment policy and the grievance procedure.
eXcentius encourages any staff member with a disability to discuss it with their line manager so that appropriate support can be offered (including consideration of any reasonable adjustments which may be required).
